Working on the success of last year’s AGM, we have some new suggestions we will be implementing this year. You will note a different schedule of 3 half-day meetings mixed with more networking opportunities. A full day of keynotes can be difficult to absorb, and we hope this new approach will ensure more engagement from delegates.

We will feature 2 AI keynotes. One will focus on adapting AI in your business and that of your customers, and will examine issues including predictive diagnostics, engineering applications and cost savings from increased productivity. The second will provide a more high-level look at AI and examine the many benefits of AI in all aspects of life while exploring potential pitfalls.

As usual, we will also feature economic insights and legislative and updates to ensure you have the necessary tools to take back to your companies.

Additional Keynotes:

  • Stuart Ducoffe: “Recruitment – The Continuing Evolution”
  • Oxford Economics: “Economic and Industry Update”
  • Canadian Manufacturers and Exporters: “Manufacturing Canada’s Future – Policy and Economic Outlook”

First time delegate testimonial:

“The AGM was well-planned and packed with useful information. I was impressed by the range of professionals who attended, which made networking really valuable. The event’s highlights for me were the networking opportunities and the insights I gained about our industry. The social activities and workshops were great for team building and making connections. The keynote speakers were engaging and spoke about topics that matter to us in the industry.

Attending the AGM has helped me grow professionally, thanks to the insights I gained and the people I met. I’d definitely recommend the AGM to others in our industry because of the valuable connections and insights it offers. Looking forward to the next one.

Market Insights

A hot topic at the AGM, and as a leader in your industry, you want to know about microeconomic trends that affect your fluid power industry, as well as the macroeconomic conditions affecting Canada, North America and the rest of the world. We will have more than one keynote speaker addressing market insight relevant to our specific industry and beyond.

AI

We will feature 2 AI keynotes. One will focus on adapting AI in your business and that of your customers, and will examine issues including predictive diagnostics, engineering applications and cost savings from increased productivity. The second will provide a more high-level look at AI and examine the many benefits of AI in all aspects of life while exploring potential pitfalls. This will be followed by an AI panel.

Networking

Networking is a key benefit of association membership and this is the perfect opportunity to form new relationships with senior leaders in the fluid power industry.  Those who enjoyed the walkability of the Whistler Village will not be disappointed with Blue Mountain. With the right mix of business topics and networking you will leave the AGM better informed, connected, and engaged.
